On foot
If your conference or business event is located in the city, you’ll find Southampton easily navigable on foot and almost entirely flat in the city centre. Downloadable maps include My Journey Southampton [LINK] including the Go Jauntly app.
By car
Southampton City Council Interactive City Parking map [LINK] offers detailed information on all car parks including postcode, opening times and charges plus on-street parking across the city. There are more than 40 car parks across the city centre, largest includes Westquay shopping centre with 4,000 spaces, Western Esplanade has two car park areas, there’s also The Marlands shopping centre and surface car parks at Ocean Village Marina.
If you’ve extended your stay to a weekend or public holidays, use Southampton’s Park & Ride [LINK] service to avoid city centre traffic.
For travellers with disabilities, the Shopmobility scheme in Westquay Shopping Centre car park level 0 provides battery-operated wheelchairs and scooters and manual wheelchairs.
