Event highlights
REGULAR ACTIVITY – Bike Doctor: First Thursday of the month 10:00am – 2.00pm. Free bike safety check. Minor alterations, adjustments are free - replacement work is free and users just pay for parts e.g. replacement inner tube or brake pads. The Bike Doctor can also give advice on maintenance or if more extensive work is needed. View here for latest information.

Southampton Summer Sessions - Local Resident and Business Guide
TK Maxx presents Southampton Summer Sessions is delighted to return to Guildhall Square in summer 2026, bringing a series of unforgettable live music events to the city. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all local residents and businesses for
your continued support, patience, and understanding as we prepare for and deliver the event. We are committed to ensuring the concert series is delivered safely, smoothly, and with respect for the local community. This guide provides key information, including build schedules, soundchecks, and traffic management arrangements.
Build and De-Rig
Preparations for the concert site will begin on Sunday 7th June and all de-rig works completed by Thursday 2 July. Standard working hours will be 08:00 - 20:00. Please note that following each event, there will be overnight activity including site maintenance, stage work, and litter collection. All crew are instructed to minimise noise wherever possible.

Road Closures
The following roads will be closed on concert dates to create a safe, pedestraian-friendly environment for audience entrance and exit.
Commercial Road and West Marlands Road
Closures on 12th, 13th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 23rd, 26th, 27th June from 16:00 to 00.01
Park Walk
Closures on 12th, 13th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 23rd, 26th, 27th June from 07:00 to 00.01
Access will be maintained for Council Yard and residents permit holders
Above Bar Street will be closed for the duration of Southampton Summer Sessions for scheduled road work improvements

Southampton Summer Sessions operates under a strict sound management plan, overseen by an independent acoustic company. If you have any concerns during concert days, please contact the resident phone line and your query will be logged and addressed.
