Southampton Football Club Summer Camps

Give your child a summer to remember at Southampton Football Club's Summer Football Camps. Staying at the prestigious Embley School in Romsey, young players will spend the week developing their football skills through Saints' enhanced Soccer School programme, while making new friends and enjoying an unforgettable experience.

The best of food and drink

If you’re a foodie like us, you’re going to LOVE the food scene here in Southampton. With Thai, Indian, Greek, Korean, Japanese and Spanish cuisine all within walking distance, you can take your tastebuds on a world foodie tour without ever leaving the city.

In the Cultural Quarter, you can move from galleries and museums to open-air performances and pop-up activities, all within a short walk of each other.

Southampton’s arts and culture offer continues right through the summer, with theatre productions, exhibitions and creative workshops bringing fresh activities for those looking to get in touch with their creative side. Live music fans can enjoy everything from intimate gigs to larger outdoor performances, while festivals and community events add even more to the atmosphere.

Over at John Hansard Gallery, they're celebrating the ideas and talents of people in Southampton through their annual Community Takeover. Together you'll explore the theme of care: self-care, care for each other and our surroundings, through a series of packed programme of exhibitions, workshops and activities. Take a stroll through the parks

Southampton has several award-winning green spaces to choose from when you’re looking to get out and enjoy the warmer weather. Many of the city’s parks are proud recipients of the prestigious Green Flag Award, recognising their high standards and welcoming environments.

In fact, Southampton is home to five central parks, each with their own unique character and features – from the Queen’s Peace Fountain and wisteria pergola in East Park, to the colourful flowerbeds and The Cenotaph in Watts Park. Why not treat the family to an impromptu picnic in the park? If you do not feel like a packed lunch, why not stop by one of the many local restaurants offering takeaways such as Coishi, Muse Coffee Co or German Doner Kebab? Or head to Marks & Spencer's, Poundland, or ASDA to stock up on snacks.
